Addup

Addup was set up to bring families together, to guide parents in the right direction to find the practical help they need for their children and to promote both public and professional awareness of ADHD. We feel we have achieved many of our aims and will continue to work towards a better understanding of this condition amongst professionals. We are a local support and action group, for Havering, Barking & Dagenham and surrounding areas.

Cerebral Palsy Guide

Our national organization provides free educational information, financial options and emotional support for parents and children affected by cerebral palsy.

Cinema Card

This is a national card that can be used to verify that the holder is entitled to one free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema. The card is valid for one year from the date of issue. Printed application forms are available from local cinemas or follow the link for an application form. You will need to provide proof that you meet their criteria.

RAGS

RAGS provide help and support for families who have a child / children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. We believe that every person with autism has potential to fulfil, and we enable this by supporting the entire family – parents, siblings and the individual with autism. RAGS was founded in 2003 by a group of Havering parents who have children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. We became a registered Charity in 2009. We are proud to be Havering’s support group for parents of children with Autism, run by parents of children with Autism.

Positive Parents

Positive Parents are an independent organisation for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities living in Havering. They are an invaluable source of information and support; but importantly, their direct work with the local authority, education and health ensures parent and carers views shape the provisions and services available to your child locally.

Havering Carers Hub

At Havering Carers Hub we support carers who care for an Adult over the age of 18, where one or both of you live in the Borough.   Please read our website where we offer advice, information, awareness courses, as well as social and well-being events. Our team understand the difficult role and demands of a carer, so we are here to help with all of your support needs.
