Timings of the Day

08.45: Learners arrive at school, either with their Parents / Carers or on LA transport.

Students are met and welcomed by their class team and taken to their classrooms for Registration

08.45 – 09.15: Registration and Class Time

09.15 – 12.00: Morning timetable – each class runs a personalised bespoke timetable designed to meet pupil need

12.00 – 13.00: Lunch

13.00 – 15.00: Afternoon timetable –  each class runs a personalised bespoke timetable designed to meet pupil need

15.00-15.10: End of School Day.

Class teams bring students to meet their Parents/ Carers or to the LA transport.  We aim to transition all pupils off site by 15.20.

In the case of severe weather conditions it may be the case that the school has to close, please listen to the local radio over which closure announcements will be made.

Educational Trips and Visits

Educational visits, residential holidays and visits are a part of the life of school. Pupils regularly visit many local places of interest in an attempt to offer as many new experiences as possible. Please look out for the special reply slips at the bottom of notes from school and help us by signing and returning them immediately. Without this permission we might be unable to take your child on an organised visit.

Visiting the School

In order to keep the site as secure as possible all outside doors to the school have an upgraded security system. All visitors must report to the main reception area, sign for arrival and departure times and collect an identity badge. In the interests of a strong safeguarding culture any visitor without a DBS will be escorted through the building by a member of staff.
