About Us

Lime Academy Ravensbourne, as part of the Lime Trust, is a school for children with special educational needs, based in the London Borough of Havering.

We admit pupils from ages 2 to 19 years old with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We work closely with parents, carers and other professionals to make our students’ time at Lime Trust as enjoyable, worthwhile and stimulating as possible. We provide exciting learning opportunities for everyone, with a strong emphasis on the skills that children and young people will need for life when they leave us as adults. Our aim is to develop the skills and knowledge of all our young people so that they can become independent and confident adults of the future.

Almost all of our children and young people have an Education Health and Care Plan. A few children join us on assessment places to decide what type of school can best meet their needs.

All of our staff are dedicated and well trained and understand that parents and carers know their children best of all.
