Staff Training
This year we have had twilight training sessions on Feeding, Play and many other topics. We have had external providers train most of the class based staff in different specialities.
Some staff have completed Train the Trainer and Fire Marshall training.
Two staff have completed a Digital Skills Apprenticeship.
Several staff will be undertaking the NARSTC Lifeguard course later this term. Some have renewed their Food Hygiene, Manual Handling and Administration of Medication courses.
All staff have access to National College and can undertake training in many subjects which are available. There are some courses which all staff have completed this year for instance everyone has completed a Safeguarding course or refresher, a Data Protection course and one on Sexual Harassment.
All staff have been offered Career Development Conversations and as a result lots of training has been booked for the coming months.
