Ravensbourne Careers Programme
Careers and Progression
At Lime Academy Ravensbourne, we are committed to providing advice and guidance to all of our learners to help them make informed decisions about their next steps with parents/carers. From starting at the school to transitioning to their next steps, the teachers and support staff will all have an input into the process of enabling learners to regularly review their educational and career ambitions, linked to their aspirations.
Good quality careers education raises the aspirations of all young people and increases motivation by linking activities in school with preparation for life throughout Year 7 to Year 14. Careers Education, Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) therefore contribute to raising our learners’ achievements, helping them focus on their longer-term career ambitions and ensuring equal opportunity for all.
School Careers Service
All learners are entitled to careers interviews and are encouraged to discuss their aspirations and future careers paths, further education options, and supported employment options. Careers interviews are delivered by a Level 6 minimum qualified registered professional.
